Win Tix to Vegan Beer Fest 3
You might be a Vegan. Or you might be like us (well not Joseph…he actually is vegan)…meaning no one would classify us meat eating, craft beer swilling blowhards as health nuts, much less vegans.
That being said the 3rd Annual Vegan Beer Fest being held on Saturday, May 12 from noon to 5 pm @ the Roxy on Sunset (Buy tickets here) is in our humble opinion one of the best craft beer experiences to be had in LA, Hollywood or just about anywhere else. That’s why we’re so excited that they’re sponsoring a contest for a pair of tickets for you, our loveable, craft beer swilling site members and visitors.
Can you feel the Love? We can! To enter look through the list of participating brewers on the event page by clicking here. and comment below or on the BIP Facebook page what beer you’d most like to see poured by any of the breweries that will be at VF3.
Since we’re short handed with most of the BIP Crew living it up at Maui Brewing Co. and other parts unknown in the Great State of Hawaii, we’re going to let BIP Contributing Writer and all around swell, craft beer swilling guy Rhino pick the winner for this one.
The deadline to submit your entry is Wednesday, May 9 @ 7 pm. Good luck and we’ll see you there for our 3rd straight year! We love this event! Mad props to Tony Yanow of Tony’s Darts Away (and Mohawk Bend and Golden Road Brewing) and Quarrygirl for building up this event over the last few years into something so very special. We think it’s representative of much of the best that the LA Craft Beer Scene has to offer!
Cheers!

Seeing that i’m a rookie in the realm of craft beer I’m actually looking forward to tasting different Barleywines. I’ve tried some of the Hangar 24 (Double IPA and Columbus IPA) but look forward to trying Epic Brewing’s Brainless on Peaches and Green Flash’s Palette Wrecker.
I have to go with my #1… Stone Ruination IPA. For me, nothing beats it, especially when it’s on tap.
Knuckle Sandwich DIPA by Bootleggers is one of my favorites, it would be a great one to have on tap!
Would love to start with a sierra nevada torpedo ipa! beer me!
haven’t done the Firemens brew…so I say Firemens brew.
i’d like to try eel river’s Açai Berry Wheat Ale. sounds tasty!
I’d like to try smog city beers as I haven’t had a chance to yet, especially the Imperial Amber.
Cheers!
I’d like to see the Green Flash collaboration beer Lynchpin and Karl Strauss Anniversary Old Ale on tap
Karl StraussTower 10. Great IPA
It’s not a particular beer that excites me about the 3rd Edition of the Vegan Beer Fest, it’s the opportunity to taste several of the amazing brews from North Coast. What a treat it will be to be able to enjoy great beers like PraQster, Old Rasputin, Old Stock Ale, Cellar Reserve and Old Plowshare. PraQster with its buttery floral taste and notable hops shows that California can produce a World class Belgian ale. The North Coast family of Old Rasputin Stouts are legendary, although many of them have been retired I have my fingers crossed that XII Anniversary will make an appearance. Old Stock has a rich sticky malt that finishes with a delicious raisin taste that reminds why I love big malt beers. I could go on and on, but it’s clear where you would find me situated if I won these tickets .
This looks great!
Greenflash palettewrecker or golden road either side of the hill.
Since it will probably be a hot day, some Smog City Saison would go down great. Bunch of great breweries, so you can’t go wrong with picking any of their beers. Cheers!
