Dogfish Head Pearl Jam XX Ale

Word on the street (or at least on www.beernews.org and www.beerstreetjournal.com) is that Dog Fish Head who has a history of brewing music inspired beers such as Bitches Brew and Hellhound On My Ale, is set to brew Twenty Faithfull Ale, which will celebrate Pearl Jam’s 20^th anniversary and the film documentary about them entitled “Twenty” being released later this year.

The info on Twenty Faithfull Ale as posted on www.beerstreetjournal:

“Faithfull Ale is a celebration of Pearl Jam’s 20th anniversary and their seminal album Ten – in recognition of these milestones this Belgian-style golden ale is delicately hopped to 20 IBUs and fruit-forward from the 10 incremental additions of black currants over the course of the one hour boil.”

We love beer and we love Pearl Jam, so if what Dogfish Head did so masterfully with Bitches Brew (one of our favorites) is any indicator we can’t wait for the beer or the film.
